The Moon Pads Story

Pip, the creator and manufacturer of Moon Pads is a trained nurse and one of the many women who have suffered the severe discomfort and potential dangers of Toxic Shock Syndrome. Using disposable pads rather than tampons eased her symptoms but she continued to suffer reactions such as allergic irritation from the disposable pads.

These ongoing problems caused her to examine her menstrual needs and develop a more natural and comfortable alternative to existing products.

The result was Moon Pads washable menstrual pads, a soft, natural solution, answering both health and environmental concerns.

So that other women can share the advantages of a washable, reusable pad Moon Pads are now produced commercially, as a one-woman, home-based business. Sewn by me, for you, with love :) Enjoy using them!
